Start with the longest clues

Look for the biggest number in each row and column. Long runs have less wiggle room, so you can often fill the guaranteed centre cells before touching anything else.

Use overlap logic

If a run of 6 has to fit into a 10-cell line, imagine it pushed all the way left, then all the way right. The cells covered in both positions must be filled — that's overlap logic, and it's the most useful technique in the game.

Mark empty cells with X

Whenever you prove a cell must be empty, mark it. X marks keep the finished work visible and stop you from accidentally filling a cell you've already ruled out.

Check rows against columns

When a row gives you new filled or empty cells, re-read the matching columns. Each update opens new deductions, and the puzzle solves line by line until the picture is complete.
