Nonograms.pics is a calm place to play nonograms — also known as picross or Japanese crosswords — right in your browser. No signup, no install, no pressure. It's made by two people who like building small puzzle games together.
Who we are
We're not a company or a big studio — just two people who make small, calm puzzle sites and apps together, and Nonograms.pics is one of them. We build the sort of games we'd want to play ourselves: uncluttered, quick to open, and happy to be picked up for five minutes on a phone. No endless pop-ups, no coins to buy — just a grid, the clues, and the small satisfaction of a picture appearing line by line.
The two of us are Nadya Yashchuk and Ivan Lukichev, and we handle everything ourselves — design, development, puzzle curation and support. We work remotely, answer our own email, and shape each update around what players actually ask for.
Nonograms.pics launched in 2026 and keeps growing: new puzzles, new guides and small quality-of-life improvements land regularly.
What Nonograms.pics does
The site is a free nonogram library you can play without an account. Every puzzle runs in the browser, saves your progress locally, and works on touch screens as well as with a mouse.
- A fresh daily nonogram: one new board every day on the daily puzzle page.
- 249 puzzles in 13 themes: from 10x10 beginner grids up to 60x60 boards, browsable by theme, size and difficulty.
- Player-friendly controls: fill, X-mark and erase modes, undo/redo, a mistake check, an optional challenge mode, and fullscreen play.
- Short guides: the rules, a solving walkthrough, and the difference between picross and nonograms.
- Printable boards: every puzzle has a print view, collected on the printable nonograms page.
The core pages are also available in Korean and Spanish, adapted rather than machine-translated.
